This is the room we stayed for one week during our backpack trip in Seoul.
A warm, comfy, maybe a little bit squeezy, not so noise-proof. but it's just a place to sleep and talkmakenoiseatmidnight, so, what's more could i ask for?
This is the place that offered us the cheapest deal, RM105 per night. Unbelievable, but we had to pay RM100+ per night stay, then divided by 2 persons, each person takes 50+. With RM100, we could find maybe a 3star hotel stay in Malaysia, but not in Seoul, where their living cost is so berladee high.
I'm glad that PM wasn't the one who acted like a stranger to me. We did not say things like "Ah, its okay, you can take the lower bunk." NOOO WAAY. No fun no fun! Then, we did 'jan-ke-po'. Believe it or not, i'm a definite loser in games, but i won the game! This is what you call, M.I.R.A.C.L.E. So congratulation to me, i owned the lower bunk, while she had to knock her head at the ceiling in mornings whenever i called her up and we're totally late for the day schedule.
Seoul is an awesome city. awesome. I love the transportation. The cleanliness. The friendliness. The variety-ness. The goodlooking-ness. The weather-ness. The services you get everywhere. It was my second visit to Seoul, but the city is still as pretty as it was. It is a place where people greet you wherever you are. Like what you saw in korean drama, when people walk in the shopping malls, 2-lines of uniform staffs greeting people at the entrance, no kidding, its R.E.A.L. Guess what, even in hypermarkets like LOTTE MART, E-MART, they have goodlooking guys standing at the entrance to greet you, help you pull out a sexy shopping cart, wishing you a great shopping day. WOAH. What a pleasant day shopping there! Even though the items maybe berladee expensive, but when you think of the handsome smiles, you just couldn't hold back anymore, you stretch your arms and reach for items from the racks!
ELFs should know about Hyundai Department store, Siwon is the only son of the big owner of the store. That store is, RIDICULOUS! They have guards, or maybe traffic guards around their building. They'll be wearing their uniforms, with a handsfree microphone (like those singers on stage), standing at the middle of the road, guiding the cars going in/coming out from the building. At the same time, they act as traffic man, guiding the walkers to cross the road. What? Isn't this supposed to be policemen's job? I was so overwhelmed by all the treatments I received when i was in korea. What a lovely country. In chinese, we say 服务至上! This is what we'll never get in Msia, not even a smile from the store keeper. I'm not trying to compare the 2 countries, because you cant even put Msia into comparison. Aish.
There are just too many awesome points to talk about Seoul. Only if they have lower living cost, i would not hesitate to stay permanently there! Maybe one day, when i can get high paid job there, i will wave goodbye at all my friends here :)
